How to Build a Simple Ayurvedic Skincare Routine for Oily Skin

Ayurvedic skincare routine for oily skin

Oily skin is common across India's warm, humid climate, and the instinct is often to over-cleanse. In Ayurveda, the goal is balance, not stripping the skin.

Step 1: Gentle cleansing

Use a herbal face wash with Neem, Tulsi and Aloe Vera twice a day. These ingredients help remove excess oil and impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture.

Step 2: Light hydration

Oily skin still needs hydration. Skipping moisturiser often makes skin produce more oil to compensate. Choose a light, non-greasy formula.

Step 3: Daily sun protection

A non-greasy sunscreen, like our SPF 50 PA+++ cream, protects skin without adding shine or a heavy feel.

What to avoid

Avoid washing your face more than twice a day, and avoid harsh scrubbing, which can irritate skin and trigger more oil production. Consistency matters more than intensity.
